Governor Roy Cooper to Speak at the 2024 SAGE Awards & Annual Meeting
Statesville, NC — The 2024 Board Chair of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, Charles Ashe, Chief Compliance & Administrative Officer of Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, is excited to announce that Governor Roy Cooper will be giving the opening welcome at the 2024 SAGE (Statesville Area Growth and Excellence) Awards and Annual Meeting. The event, slated for February 15, 2024 at 6PM, is to highlight the Chamber’s activities in 2023 and present awards that acknowledge the excellence of and achievements of the local business community and organizations in and around Statesville.
Charles has been in discussion with Governor Cooper and his staff for the last several months and with the help of William Morgan was able to confirm his attendance. “We are thrilled that he has accepted our request to speak at our Annual Meeting and kick-off a newly developed award program, SAGE, Statesville Area Growth and Excellence Awards, to acknowledge and honor local businesses and leaders for outstanding excellence in our business community. Having Governor Cooper to attend this event is a real honor for our Chamber and attendees.”
Held at the Statesville Civic Center, this event, hosted by the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, promises an unforgettable experience for attendees. New this year is networking while enjoying the delicious food stations provided by Café 220.
