𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏7𝐭𝐡 at the City of Statesville Leisure Pool

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

10:00am: Check-in and Day-of Registration Opens
10:30am: 1 Mile Run Begins
11:00am: Polar Plunge Begins!

Individual Plunge Participant: $50

Polar Plunge Team (5 People): $250

We encourage you to help raise as much money as possible for Special Olympics Iredell County.

Special Olympics athletes are never charged to compete, and we need your help to continue to make this possible!

Encourage your friends, family, and co-workers to participate as plungers, fundraisers for the cause, or just have them come to the event to cheer you on!

The optional 1 mile run will be hosted by McLelland’s Race Team.

When you raise $50, you will receive the 2024 Polar Plunge T-Shirt!

But, why stop there? Every dollar you raise helps support Special Olympics athletes across Iredell County!

Why Plunge? If you are a person with intellectual disabilities, you encounter adversities daily. You must have courage to try something that doesn’t come easily to you. Our athletes bravely face challenges on the field, in the pool and on the court. They are the inspiration for this event. The funds raised will provide year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health services to Special Olympics athletes in our community.
