Purple Heart Recipient Gets New Home

On Veterans Day in Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S. Marine Sgt. Nathan Harris was given more than just a house key. After enduring years of recovery following his injuries in Afghanistan, he stepped into a home that was thoughtfully renovated to meet his needs. The project was led by Purple Heart Homes and supported by TIMCO Aviation Services, Crescent City Rotary Club, and Home Depot. Sgt. Harris played an active role in the renovation and shared that the moment made him feel truly appreciated. Now, he hopes to support other veterans just as the community has supported him.
