East Broad Street Closure Scheduled as Tree Removal Work Continues

Weather permitting, the 300 block of East Broad Street will be closed between Green Street and Elm Street beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, as crews finish the tree removal work that began this week. This phase of the project requires the use of a crane. Both inbound and outbound lanes of East Broad Street will be closed. Crews will begin work at 8 a.m. and continue until the project is finished.

Motorists should use Green Street and Elm Street to travel around the work area. Please use caution near the work zone and allow additional travel time.
