Statesville Football Club Receives Community Spirit Award from Statesville City Council

The City of Statesville proudly recognized Statesville Football Club with the Community Spirit Award during a recent Statesville City Council meeting. The award honors the club for bringing the National Premier Soccer League to Statesville and fostering community pride through the sport of soccer.

During its inaugural season, Statesville FC established more than a competitive soccer club. It created a place where families, friends, and neighbors could gather to support a hometown team while building a new tradition for soccer fans throughout the community.

The club’s successful first season was made possible through the dedication of its players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Their passion and commitment helped Statesville FC quickly become a positive addition to the community.

The team also earned a berth in the National Premier Soccer League Southeast Conference Playoffs - an impressive achievement that highlighted the strength and determination that defined the club from the beginning.
