23rd Annual Statesville PumpkinFest

Fall fun takes over Downtown Statesville during the 23rd Annual Statesville PumpkinFest THIS Saturday! Enjoy a full day of regional arts and crafts, delicious food, live music on two stages, a high-energy Kids’ Zone, a classic car cruise-in and plenty of pumpkin-themed fun for the entire family.

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Location: Downtown Statesville

Connect with SPD This November

The Statesville Police Department (SPD) has several opportunities to connect with officers, support local families and enjoy community events throughout November.

Mark your calendar and join SPD at one or more of these upcoming events:

• Saturday, November 7 | 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Fill the Trailer Toy Drive Kickoff at the Statesville PumpkinFest, Downtown Statesville. SPD invites you to join us for our annual Fill the Trailer Toy Drive, a community initiative dedicated to bringing holiday joy to children and families in need.

• Thursday, November 12 | 8:30–10 a.m.
• Coffee with a Cop at Daylight Donuts, 1849 E. Broad Street. Stop by for coffee, conversation and a chance to meet local officers. The first 25 community members will receive a free donut.
• Saturday, November 14 | 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
• Cozy Up to Fall at Alex Cooper Park, 1500 Fifth Street. This free community event will offer food, coats, hats, gloves, blankets and family-friendly activities.
• Saturdays, November 14, 21 and 28 | Noon–4 p.m.
• Fill the Trailer Toy Drive at Walmart Supercenter, 1116 Crossroads Drive. Help SPD Fill the Trailer by donating new, unwrapped toys.

Veterans Day Holiday Schedule

City offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in observance of Veterans Day.

Residential and commercial garbage collection scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, and Wednesday, November 11, will both take place on Tuesday, November 10. There will be no garbage collection on Veterans Day.

The Statesville Recreation Center and Statesville Event Center will also be closed on Wednesday, November 11. Both facilities and city offices will resume normal operations on Thursday, November 12.

🔹Events Services Technician (Part-Time): The Event Services Technician supports events and operations at the Civic Center by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. Responsibilities include setting up event spaces, assisting customers at the front desk, supporting event logistics, and providing basic A/V and custodial services. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who is comfortable with hands-on work and adaptable to a flexible schedule.
