Leadership Statesville Commends Future Leaders at the 2024–2025 Graduation and Awards Ceremony
Leadership Statesville proudly celebrated the graduation of 22 dynamic leaders from its 2024–2025 program during an awards ceremony held at the 500 Club. The event recognized the cohort's successful completion of a rigorous nine-month leadership development experience and honored their impactful contributions to the community.
Leadership Statesville, a signature program of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to fostering and uniting the leadership community in Statesville and Iredell County. Through hands-on leadership development, comprehensive local education, and meaningful networking, the program empowers individuals to grow personally and professionally while making a lasting difference in their businesses, non-profits, and the broader community.
As part of the program’s community impact component, the 2024–2025 cohort selected My Sister’s House as their nonprofit partner. Emma Lovill, a member of the cohort, presented the group’s service project, which included refreshing the playground, landscaping the backyard, reinforcing the fencing, and enhancing the patio with a new awning and extended concrete space—creating a more welcoming and safer environment for the women and children the organization serves.
During the ceremony, Jon Madison, Chair of the Leadership Statesville Advisory Board, spoke on the vital role of leadership in shaping the future of the community. He was joined by Ron Matthews, of Johnson Greenhouses and Chair of the Chamber Board, along with Shannon Viera, IOM, President & CEO of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, in presenting awards to each graduate.
In his closing remarks, Jon Madison thanked the graduates, their families, and community supporters for their dedication and encouragement throughout the program year. “These individuals have shown tremendous growth and commitment,” he said. “They are prepared to be change-makers in Statesville and beyond.”
Leadership Statesville extends its sincere gratitude to its generous sponsors—Bobcat, Denso North America, and the City of Statesville—whose support made the 2024–2025 program possible.
