The Longest Table is being set in Mooresville and Statesville to celebrate “The Power of We.” These community meals will allow hundreds of community members to gather together and meet new people. Members of the public are encouraged to attend to enjoy some delicious food and great conversation with their neighbors. These events are free to attend, but tickets are required.

The Longest Table will occur in Mooresville on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Seating will begin at 12:30 pm. The table will stretch the length of Blue Devil Boulevard at Mooresville High School, 659 E. Center Avenue, Mooresville, NC 28115. Tickets are available on Humanitix at: https://events.humanitix.com/the-longest-table-mooresville

The Longest Table will occur in Statesville on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 5:30 pm. Seating will begin at 5:00 pm. The table will be set at the corner of N. Mulberry Street and W. Broad Street, Statesville, NC 28677. Tickets are available on Humanitix at: https://events.humanitix.com/the-longest-table-statesville

Table hosts will facilitate conversations among guests about this year’s theme, “The Power of We.” There is power in connection between people. There is so much good in our communities that we want to celebrate. If you are interested in being a table host or want to volunteer to serve in another capacity, please sign up on the United Way’s HIVE (Helping Iredell Volunteers Engage).
