Lowry’s Grand Opening on October 24 will include family-friendly activities, music, food, and more

Harmony, NC, October 16, 2020 --  Lowry’s has opened a new and expanded store just down the road from its previous location. Lowry’s Grand Opening celebration will be Saturday, October 24th between 8am to 3pm at 3204 Harmony Hwy, Harmony, NC 28634.

The Grand Opening is a free event with family-friendly outdoor activities. Zootastic Park, Rescue Ranch, music, and food are a few of the activities on the schedule for the day. NASCAR driver, Ryan Newman, will make a special guest appearance for autograph signing from 10-10:30am. Sonrise Café and Traeger grilled food will be available. There are more surprises the family behind this family-owned business has planned for the day.
 
The store will be open for shopping and will kick off the day with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  Scott, Amy, Josh, and Sara Lowry say “We are excited to continue offering the quality products our community has grown to depend on us to provide in a new and larger store. We are also excited about all the new products we’ve added, like hardware and apparel.” Lowry’s will continue to provide feed and trucking services. The new store includes a gardening center, hardware, apparel, pet supplies and more.
 
Lowry’s was first established in 1982 as Lowry Livestock Feeds. Scott Lowry began the feed and trucking company and later his wife Amy joined him. In recent years, two of their three children have also joined the business. The Lowry family is proud to meet the needs of local farmers, just as they have for the past 38 years. They are also looking forward to offering an expanded product line to better serve the community.

People are asked to maintain the recommended COVID safety precautions while attending the grand opening.
