Due to COVID-19, my husband and I chose to elope at the 1812 Hitching Post in January 2021. It couldn't have been a better experience! Because our elopement package was all-inclusive, it was a stress-free event. Instead of stressing over little details, we could relax and focus on the commitment we were making to each other. Wendy was a joy to work with! She was an excellent communicator prior to the event, and she answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. She greeted us with open arms upon our arrival to the house, and she put us both at ease as we prepared to get married. We are both camera-shy, but she made the photography afterwards fun! We got so many amazing shots that capture our sheer joy on that day. Also, the property was beautiful! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing! I highly recommend the 1812 Hitching Post for all types of weddings. You won't have a better experience anywhere else!
