Y2K Kids Take Center Stage at Piedmont Healthcare Friday After 5 with 2000s Hits
Piedmont HealthCare's Friday After 5 concert series is back this Friday, August 1, with the high-energy, ultra-fun Y2K Kids, the ultimate tribute to the music of the 2000’s and up! You don’t want to miss this “ultimate, multi-media, nostalgia party”!
Step back in time and relive the electrifying sounds of the 2000s with Y2K Kids! This high-energy tribute band brings the biggest hits of the new millennium to life, celebrating an era filled with unforgettable pop, rock, and dance anthems. Whether you're a fan of Bruno Mars' smooth grooves, Lady Gaga's bold theatrics, or the powerhouse vocals of Kelly Clarkson, Y2K Kids delivers an authentic and exhilarating experience that will have everyone on the dance floor.
Dressed in full 2000s fashion, complete with themed stage props, Y2K Kids fully immerses audiences in the nostalgia of the decade. Expect spot-on performances of chart-topping hits from Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, The Strokes, and many more! With both male and female powerhouse vocalists leading the charge, every song is performed with passion and precision, capturing the essence of the original artists while adding an exciting, live-performance edge.
The Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series brings free live entertainment to Downtown Statesville the first Friday from May through October (except July), featuring an incredible lineup of musical acts spanning country, blues, rock and roll, and timeless classics that guarantee something for every music lover. Also made possible through the presenting sponsorship of Flow Automotive of Statesville, the series reflects the dealership's commitment to community engagement. Whether you're craving throwback classics or today's hottest hits, the series promises evenings packed with music, dancing, and memories that'll last long after the final encore.
The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water, and food will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 pm. Bring your chairs and enjoy a great night of music, but remember no pets or coolers are allowed
This year, each Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 concert will support a non-profit organization, offering them a booth to share information about their program and collecting donations on their behalf. We are excited to announce that this week's event will be dedicated to benefiting The Dove House. Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center is a fully accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that serves child victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members in Alexander and Iredell Counties in North Carolina. Their mission is o minimize trauma, promote healing, and enhance investigation and prosecution for child-victims of sexual abuse through advocacy, intervention, collaboration, and education.
