Thomas Road Band Brings the Heat to the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Stage

Get ready to kick off your weekend with some serious country vibes! Piedmont HealthCare's Friday After 5 concert series is bringing the heat on Friday, June 6 with a live performance by Thomas Road Band, the high-energy country act that's been tearing up stages across the Carolinas.

Established in 2019, Thomas Road is the leading country music act in the Carolinas. Based out of Myrtle Beach, SC and lead by singer Seth Thomas, the group is about bringing a high-octane Country music sound. With influences ranging from Bluegrass all the way to Rock n Roll, their strong harmonies and Carolina Country Music Association nominated rhythm section will deliver an entertaining show and night of music.

The Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series brings free live entertainment to Downtown Statesville the first Friday from May through October, featuring an incredible lineup of musical acts spanning country, blues, rock and roll, and timeless classics that guarantee something for every music lover. Also made possible through the presenting sponsorship of Flow Automotive of Statesville, the series reflects the dealership's commitment to community engagement. "At Flow Automotive, we believe in supporting the communities we serve, and partnering with the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 concert series is a perfect reflection of that commitment," said Peyton Justice, Lead Partnerships Coordinator for Flow Automotive Companies. "This event brings people together and fosters a strong sense of community—values that align closely with who we are. We're proud to be a part of something that adds so much to Statesville and gives us the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our neighbors." Whether you're craving throwback classics or today's hottest hits, the series promises evenings packed with music, dancing, and memories that'll last long after the final encore.

The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6 – 8:30 pm. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water, and food will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30pm.  Bring your chairs and enjoy a great night of music, but remember no pets or coolers are allowed.

This year, each Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 concert will support a non-profit organization, offering them a booth to share information about their program and collecting donations on their behalf. We are excited to announce that this week's event will be dedicated to benefiting Rescue Ranch. Rescue Ranch is a humane education center in the heart of Iredell County, NC that provides sanctuary and permanent residency to more than 80 rescued animals. These animals all have a story to share as they came to the Ranch from situations like neglect, hoarding, or owner surrender. They are affectionately known as Rescue Ranch’s animal ambassadors; and are an integral component of our humane education programs. Their educational programs incorporate hands-on learning to support our mission of promoting compassion and respect for all animals.  For more information, visit www.rescueranch.com.  Are you interested in a booth for your non-profit? Contact the Chamber of Commerce for an application.

Start your evening by visiting the welcome tent at the entrance to purchase your tokens for $6 each (cash or card) before heading over to the beverage tent!

Red Buffalo Brewing will be on hand pouring their well-loved Clocktower IPA, Blue’sBerry Ale, and Mouthy Blonde Ale.

Andrea’s Ice Cream & Sweet Shop along with Bushcraft BBQ and The Truk food trucks will be serving food, sweets, water & soft drinks.

Mark your calendars and make sure you don’t miss any of these upcoming dates:

August 1 – Y2K Kids (Tribute to 2000s & Up)
