Impressive, as you know I've been to countless resteraunts across the country to review them. The food here is EXCELLENT. the service is upbeat and on top of everything. Very friendly. I will be returning to try other items on the menu. I started with the fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese. 🤌🏼 the batter was flaky and deliciously seasoned. Not to salty as with other places. I got my cheese on the side so it wouldn't overwhelm anything just in case. For dinner I went with the meat loaf which was divine! Perfectly seasoned and cooked, had my smacking my lips and wanting more. Also had the shrimp and grits. I actually normally do not eat grits but I was curious. Oh my..a very generous serving of Perfectly cooked shrimp with delicious grits. With the meatloaf I unfortunately wasn't able to try the mashed potatoes as they had ran out so went with the Mac n cheese which was great. Also had the roasted Brussels which were served a little out of the ordinary. I'm not quite sure I liked them that way, sliced and dissected into a sort of Brussel salad if you will. I prefer them whole but they were still tasty. Our server was also very attentive and helpful in making my decision. She was amazing! Highly recommend this hidden gem located in downtown Statesville NC
