FOX Sports and Purple Heart Homes Come Together to Build Ramps and Kick Off Hearts for the Holidays Campaign

On Monday, November 10, 2025, a team effort unfolded at the FOX Sports Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. Volunteers from FOX Sports and Purple Heart Homes joined forces for a Ramp Build Day that marked the official launch of Purple Heart Homes' inaugural Hearts for the Holidays national campaign.

For hours, teams worked side-by-side measuring, cutting, assembling, and preparing wheelchair ramp components that will soon be installed at the homes of service-connected disabled Veterans. These ramps will provide safer access, greater independence, and the peace of mind every Veteran deserves in their own home.

A National Campaign with a Purpose

This Ramp Build Day served as more than a volunteer effort, it symbolized the beginning of a nationwide movement. Hearts for the Holidays, presented by FOX Sports, is a year-end giving and volunteer initiative designed to inspire Americans to give and serve in support of Veterans across the country. The campaign's mission is simple but powerful: heal hearts one home at a time.

The goal is to raise $250,000 to complete 25 Veteran home projects in 2026. Through acts of service like the Ramp Build Day, Purple Heart Homes aims to unite communities during the holiday season in acts of compassion and gratitude. 

A Day of Teamwork and Impact

At FOX Sports Studios in Charlotte, volunteers worked alongside Purple Heart Homes staff to construct the ramp components that PHH will install in upcoming Veteran projects. These ramps are often life-changing, providing essential accessibility for Veterans with mobility challenges.

Throughout the day, the energy was contagious, teams laughing together, learning together, and staying focused on the Veterans whose lives will soon be touched by their work. FOX Sports representatives and PHH staff were also on-site sharing what this mission means to them and why supporting Veteran housing solutions remains a top priority.
