El Paso Veteran Receives New Roof From National Project to Honor Service Members

El Paso Army veteran Danny De La Torre received a new roof for his home through the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project, a nationwide effort to honor veterans and their families. In partnership with Purple Heart Homes, the Owens Corning Foundation donated roofing materials while Escalante Roofing contributed labor for the installation. Having served in Afghanistan and living with a back injury and PTSD, De La Torre expressed deep gratitude for the support, sharing that the new roof will provide peace of mind and protect both his home and his pets.
