In Greenville, South Carolina, an Air Force veteran received a heartfelt surprise when volunteers from the Home Depot Foundation and Purple Heart Homes joined forces to make important safety upgrades to his home.
As part of the Operation Surprise Campaign, the team installed a new ramp, repaired the back porch, and gifted the veteran with a grill, patio furniture, and landscaping. This project not only honored his service but also created a safer and more welcoming space for him to enjoy with family and friends ahead of Veterans Day.
