When NFL star Christian McCaffrey teamed up with Lowe’s and Purple Heart Homes, the result was life-changing for decorated Korean War veteran Grover Monk. Together, they unveiled a full home renovation to improve safety, accessibility, and comfort for Monk and his family.
From a new ramp and roof to a butterfly garden honoring Monk’s late wife, the effort was personal and powerful. For McCaffrey, giving back to veterans like Monk is deeply important, and for Monk’s son, the gift left him speechless. “The house is just perfect for dad,” he said.
