'My feet won't touch the ground' Disabled Veteran takes Raising Money to New Heights

Marine Corps veteran Scott Burns is spending seven days 20 feet off the ground to raise money for fellow vets. As founder of 7 Days for the Troops, Burns set up camp atop a scaffold at the Outlets of Mississippi, where he’s living round-the-clock to benefit Purple Heart Homes.
A 100% disabled vet, Burns has raised over $200,000 since launching the initiative 14 years ago. This year, his goal is to support a local veteran and inspire the launch of a new Purple Heart Homes chapter in Jackson.
Burns is proving that you don’t need to be on the ground to make a real impact.
