Multiple nonprofit organizations have come together to build accessible homes for wounded veterans in Denver, North Carolina. One recipient, retired Army Staff Sgt. Brandon Zettl, who lives with injuries from deployments in Afghanistan and Africa, will move into a new home with his wife and three children by Thanksgiving. Led by Purple Heart Homes, Patriot Charities, Hearts & Hammers, and others, this effort aims to create a community where veterans can live among those who truly understand their experiences. The project is made possible through generous donations, dedicated volunteers, and a shared commitment to supporting veterans.
