In a heartfelt tribute to veterans, Fairfield Ludlowe High School Bands and the Westport Community Band are joining forces for a free public concert on November 19 at Roger Ludlowe Middle School. Organized by directors Nick Albano and Sal LaRusso, the event will benefit Purple Heart Homes, a nonprofit supporting service-connected disabled veterans through housing solutions.
The evening will include patriotic performances, the Norwalk High JROTC Color Guard, and a special appearance by Staff Sergeant Sandra Lee, an Iraq War veteran and singer. Purple Heart Homes co-founder John Gallina will also speak, reinforcing the concert’s message of gratitude and community support for veterans.
