Greensboro Military Family Receives Invaluable Gift

The Bendel family of Greensboro recently received a beautifully renovated backyard thanks to the generosity of Purple Heart Homes partners, including Crescent Rotary Club, Home Depot, and TIMCO. Grady Bendel, a U.S. Army veteran who was injured by an IED during his 2009 deployment to Afghanistan, has endured multiple surgeries and continues to manage PTSD. The addition of a privacy fence now provides a safe and secure space for their children and service dogs, offering peace of mind and comfort.
