Carroll Street Closure and Water Service Interruption

STATESVILLE, NC — Carroll Street is currently closed between N. Race Street and N. Mulberry Street due to a water main break caused by a private contractor.

The City of Statesville Water Department is onsite and actively working to complete the necessary repairs. As part of this work, water service has been temporarily shut off for residents on Carroll Street.

The repair is expected to take approximately four hours to complete.

We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate the patience of residents and motorists as crews work to safely restore service and reopen the roadway. Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
