Road Closure - Water Main break at 900 block of Wilmington Ave

Repairs to the water main break in the 900 block of Wilmington Avenue are now complete and the road is back open to traffic. Some residents in the area may notice temporary brown or discolored water as the system returns to normal. Our crews are actively flushing the lines, and this should clear up soon. If you experience discoloration, run cold water from a bathtub or outdoor spigot for about five minutes, or until the water runs clear. The City of Statesville Water Department is responding to a water main break in the 900 block of Wilmington Avenue. Crews are onsite and actively making repairs.
