Road Closure Planned on W. Front Street for Water Leak Repair (01/13/2026)

The City of Statesville Water Department will temporarily close W. Front Street from S. Oak Street to S. Patterson Street tonight to complete emergency water leak repairs.

The closure will begin at 8:00 p.m. and is expected to last approximately four hours, depending on conditions and the progress of the repair.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution in the area while crews are working. Access will be restored as soon as repairs are completed and it is safe to reopen the roadway.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as this necessary maintenance is performed.
