Each year, fire departments across the country recognize Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Week (January 19 - 25, 2026) to highlight the importance of preventing emergencies before they occur. At the Statesville Fire Department, Community Risk Reduction is more than a weeklong focus – it is a year-round commitment to protecting lives, property, and our community through education, prevention, and planning.
