Labor Day Closures and Revised Sanitation Schedule

In observance of Labor Day, all City of Statesville offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. City services and facility hours will operate on adjusted schedules during the holiday week.

Residential sanitation routes scheduled for Monday will be collected on Tuesday, September 2. Tuesday and Wednesday residential routes will be collected on Wednesday, September 3. Commercial sanitation routes scheduled for Monday and Tuesday will be collected on Tuesday, September 2.

On September 1, the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center and the Statesville Civic Center will be closed. The Statesville Leisure Pool, Bentley Community Center, and Splash Pad will remain open. For admission details and hours of operation, visit www.statesvillenc.net/aquatics.

City Council will meet only once in September, on Monday, September 15, 2025. This meeting will include a public comment session, giving residents the opportunity to share their thoughts directly with council members.
