East Broad Street Closure Scheduled for June 27, 2025

The City of Statesville will temporarily close a portion of East Broad Street on Friday, June 27, to safely remove two trees located in the 500 block.

 Closure Details:

• East Broad Street will be closed to through traffic from Salisbury Road to East End Avenue.
• Only local traffic will be permitted within the closure area.
• Detour signs will be posted to guide drivers around the work zone.

For your safety and the safety of our crews, please use caution when traveling nearby and avoid the area if possible during the closure.

 Detour Route:

• Eastbound traffic: Salisbury Road → East Front Street → East End Avenue → East Broad Street
• Westbound traffic: East End Avenue → East Front Street → Salisbury Road → East Broad Street
