Juneteenth Holiday Closures

In observance of Juneteenth, all City of Statesville offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

There will be no residential or commercial garbage collection on this day.

Sanitation Schedule Adjustments for the Week of June 16–20:

  • Residential Routes: Thursday’s routes will be collected on Friday, June 20. All other residential routes will follow their regular schedule.
  • Commercial Routes (for roll-out carts and garbage containers): Thursday’s routes will be collected on Friday, June 20. All other commercial routes will run as usual.

Public Notice regarding Utility Bill Payments

The City of Statesville has updated the mailing address for utility bill payments. Effective immediately, residents who pay their utility bill by mail should send payments to the following new address:

P.O. Box 96277
Charlotte, NC 28296-6277

Please update your records and begin using this address immediately for all future mailed payments. Read more here.

Citywide School Supply Drive Launches for Statesville’s End of Summer Bash

The City of Statesville continues its new citywide school supply drive to help students start the 2025–2026 school year with confidence!

From June 2 through July 18, residents can drop off donations at convenient locations across the city to support the End of Summer Bash, taking place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Harris Park. 

This is the City’s first coordinated drive of this kind and aims to provide fully stocked backpacks for local children in need, helping ease the financial burden on families and ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed. Learn more here.

🔹 Building Maintenance Technician (Full-Time): This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to City-owned buildings and structures that require carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills and abilities.
