Citywide School Supply Drive Launches for Statesville’s End of Summer Bash

The City of Statesville continues its new citywide school supply drive to help students start the 2025–2026 school year with confidence!

From June 2 through July 18, residents can drop off donations at convenient locations across the city to support the End of Summer Bash, taking place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Harris Park. 

This is the City’s first coordinated drive of this kind and aims to provide fully stocked backpacks for local children in need, helping ease the financial burden on families and ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed. Learn more here.

🔹 Planner I - Ordinance Enforcement Officer (Full-Time): This position is responsible for enforcing compliance with codes, regulations, and ordinances.

🔹 Skilled Laborer - Landscaping & Custodial - Water Treatment Plant (Full-Time): This position is responsible for semi-skilled work in a variety of janitorial, landscaping, and repair assignments involving the use of specialized tools and equipment within the city’s water and wastewater treatment department.
