Santa's Magic Mailbox

Submission Dates: Thru Friday, December 12, 2025.

To ensure that Santa receives your letter in time, please send it by December 12, 2025, using one of the following options:

The best way to spread holiday cheer? GLOWING BRIGHT for all to see!

Holiday Balloon Glow - Light up the Night

🗓️ Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 5p-6p at the Statesville Park & Soccer Complex

Enjoy a magical evening as 8–10 hot air balloons illuminate the night sky like giant, colorful luminaries. Drive through the park and soak in the glow - perfect for family photos and holiday memories!

🎁 Admission: Please bring non-perishable food or personal hygiene items to support Iredell Christian Ministries (ICM). Volunteers will collect donations as you drive through. Let’s make this season shine brighter than ever!

🚨 Important Details:

🚗 Drive-through only - no parking, please!

🎈 Balloons will stay tethered and glow every few seconds for a dazzling display.

❤️ Organized by local balloon pilots and volunteers giving back to the community.

🎈 TRAFFIC ALERT: Attention residents! If you're planning to attend the 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐰 event this Saturday, please take note of the following:

🚗 Previous events have caused heavy traffic on Simonton Road, Signal Hill Drive, and Signal Hill Ext. To avoid delays, consider alternative routes during event hours.

🚫 No stopping or parking will be allowed at the Soccer Complex as this is a drive-thru event.

👮‍♂️ The Statesville Police Department will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow.

🔹 Police Telecommunicator - Night Shift 6PM - 6AM (Full-Time): This position is responsible for receiving and prioritizing 911 and non-emergency telephone calls from the public, dispatching appropriate public safety officials, and maintaining open lines of communication with public safety during emergency situations.

🔹Police Officer (Part-Time): This position performs intermediate protective service work involving a variety of general or support duty police assignments; does related work as required.
