City Closings & Residential Sanitation Changes

CHRISTMAS

City offices, including the Statesville Recreation Center and Bentley Community Center, will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Revised Residential Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule:

• Tuesday and Wednesday routes will be collected on Tuesday.
• Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Wednesday

Revised Commercial Roll-Out Container Collection Schedule:

• Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected on Monday
• Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected on Tuesday
• Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Wednesday

NEW YEAR'S DAY

City offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day. The Statesville Recreation Center and Bentley Community Center will operate regular hours on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

🔹 Police Officer (Full-Time): This position performs intermediate protective service work involving a variety of general or support duty police assignments; does related work as required.
