Road Closure: Garfield and Green Street Intersection Closed for Water Valve Repair

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 - The intersection of Garfield and Green Street is currently closed while City of Statesville Water Maintenance crews repair a water valve in the area.

During this repair, residents along Garfield Street to South Tradd Street will experience a temporary water outage. The repair is expected to take approximately five hours to complete.

Once water service is restored, some residents may notice brown or discolored water. This is normal and should clear after running cold water in the bathtub for about five minutes.
