National School Bus Safety Week

As students across Statesville settle into their school routines, the City continues to shine a light on one of the most important parts of every child’s day - getting to and from school safely. In recognition of National School Bus Safety Week (October 20–24, 2025), the City of Statesville is joining communities across the country to promote safe driving, raise awareness about bus stop safety, and remind everyone that every stop counts when it comes to protecting our children.

Statesville Police Recruit Program

The Statesville Police Department is actively seeking the next generation of officers through its Police Recruit Program. This unique opportunity allows qualified candidates to be hired by SPD while attending Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), providing both financial and career support along the way.

🔹Waste Collector - DL Required (Full-Time): This position is responsible for manual work in the collection of garbage, trash, and yard waste.
