I am new to Statesville so it was troubling to realize my 22 year old cat was having health issues, and not knowing a trusted local vet. I brought her to AHOS, and was immediately impressed with how clean, spacious and professional the operation is. Most important - the entire staff was so compassionate and caring - especially Drs. Cooney and Gaither. You had to give me the worst news, that I would soon lose my darling Zinnia. But her visits were undertaken with love and gentleness for her and for me, and the very best technology and veterinary procedures. All of the technicians, even the folks at the front desk, everyone was patient and kind. I’m still crying today over the loss of my baby, but they made this sad process as easy as it can be, even helping me tend to her remains in a respectful way.
