Homecoming Show for Statesville Native Desmond Myers Sells Out

The Iredell Arts Council is thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated homecoming performance by Desmond Myers has officially sold out! The concert, scheduled for November 14, 2024, at the Iredell Arts Council  will be a special night as Desmond returns to perform for his hometown fans. For those who missed out on tickets, we are excited to announce that the show will be streamed live on Facebook.

Desmond Myers, known for his soulful voice and genre-blending music, has captivated audiences across the globe. His sound, a mix of American blues, Southern hip-hop, and the electronic funk of French house, reflects the diverse influences he absorbed growing up on a small farm in Statesville. Inspired by his late father’s love of blues and rock, Desmond also developed a passion for R&B and electronic dance music during his teenage years.

Desmond’s career launched after meeting a European record producer while still in high school, here in Statesville, leading him to Paris, where he performed at the prestigious Le Lido Cabaret and collaborated with artists like SUperjava and the band Her. This special homecoming show will feature his signature blend of soulful grooves and electrifying beats, offering fans an intimate look into his musical journey.
