Arts Campus Ground Breaking Ceremony

The board of the SHA with the City of Statesville, the Art council and other Art centered groups decided to create an outlet and the idea of the "Arts Campus" was born.

The Campus will consist of a 30,000 sq. ft. indoor art space with an auditorium, classrooms and a full recording studio, an amphitheater, technology building and an indoor /outdoor skate park.

There is nowhere in America that a Housing Authority has partnered with city, private and other nonprofits to achieve this. The concept has been designed to also serve as an example of participatory economic development and career development to further North Carolina goals.

We need your support to achieve this goal.  Please join us for the ground breaking on July 7, 2022 at 10:30 am 117 McElwee St. Statesville, NC.  Your presence will demonstrate support for progressive ideas with conservative management of government funds.  We can only be successful when we all come together.
