Business After Hours

Unwind after your work day, enjoy an adult beverage, and connect with the local business community. Business After Hours is a relaxing way to end your day, meet new people, and enhance your business and personal relationships. 

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS is one of the Chamber's most popular programs and is hosted each month by a Chamber member business.  It is designed for members to meet and build relationships with other Chamber businesses along with providing the ultimate opportunity tonetwork. These networking evenings take place between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. usually on the third Thursday of the month.

Remember to bring business cards to distribute to business contacts, prospective clients, and to enter the door prize drawings.

Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings

One of the most exciting events for a business, whether new or existing, is celebrating a grand opening and/or ribbon cutting The Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce offers its assistance in the planning and preparation of your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We provide the "giant" scissors and the ribbon. Our staff will photograph the event to "preserve the moment" and we print your photo in our Connection Magazine.

There is no charge for the Chamber's involvement, it's a value-added benefit of being a member of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce.

Birdies, Bogies, and Business

This golf tournament is strictly for fun but there is a twist. Statesville Chamber members meet on the green in hot competition at the Statesville Country Club.  This event usually takes place in May.

Business Spellin' Bee

A popular event that draws business teams together in a highly competitive spelling bee format to raise money for scholarships for GED graduates to attend Mitchell Community College. It is a blast.    

Chamber Business Expo

The Business Expo is held each year at the Statesville Civic Cente,r usually in March.  The Expo offers exhibitors the opportunity to increase their market potential and to network with business and community. Over 1,000 attendees. 

Annual Chamber Awards Dinner

This event is held once a year and is the Chambers Annual Fundraiser. Focusing on Leadership, the Chamber bestows members of the business community with Citizen of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Industry of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year awards and recognition during this evening event.
