Healthcare
Good health in life makes all things possible and it is a well-known fact that the state of North Carolina is an undisputed leader in modern medicine. As a result, some of the finest doctors and practitioners in the nation are located in North Carolina, and, consequently, in Statesville, providing area residents with the highest level of healthcare possible.
It's no wonder that the medical community in the Statesville area is without rival when compared to cities of similar size. Two full service hospitals are located here, with a broad range of medical services.
Piedmont Health Care
The physicians of Piedmont Health Care have served the medical needs of patients and families in our area for generations. Davis Regional Medical Center
In the 1920s. when most emergency departments were staffed only part time, Davis Regional Medical Center offered round-the-clock ER care, seven days a week. Setting the standard in healthcare is a tradition at Davis Regional - a tradition that started in the 1920s but continues today. An example of the Davis tradition of excellence is their 'faster emergency care'. With most ER patients' treatments taking hours, Davis Regional boasts (on the average) a record treatment time of under one hour and 40 minutes. In addition to board-certified physicians and expertly-trained staff, Davis' MedKey Express Registration and Nurse First Triage enable the hospital to perform faster than the average ER.
