The title of this CLE Activity is Ethical Issues in Debt Collection & Foreclosure:The Interplay Between the FDCPA and The Rules of Professional Conduct.This 90-minute presentation explores the obligations and constraints placed on attorney communication under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, how the Rules of Professional Conduct should influence attorney conduct in the debt collection arena, and how specific debt collection activities might be viewed from an ethical standpoint. The presenter, Graham Kidner, spent 21 years at Freddie Mac where he supervised the company?s network of foreclosure and bankruptcy counsel and managed loan-related litigation. He has been in private practice since 2012, representing mortgage lenders and servicers, and manages compliance for the Hutchens Law Firm.We invite you to be a part of the training.
